The change to the data protection guidelines will take effect on May 25, 2018. Continued use of ClickTutor after this date implies acceptance of our updated Terms of Use. In the event of contradictions between the German-language data protection declaration and the translated versions, the German-language version has priority.

Which data is processed and where does this data come from?

We process the personal data that we receive from you as part of the business relationship.

These personal data include:
  • type of school
  • School level
  • Phone number
  • E-mail address, if known
  • Questions that are asked of the community
  • Answers that are returned to the community
  • Payment information, if disclosed
  • Profile picture, if uploaded accordingly
  • Identification data of the device on which the “ClickTutor”app was installed.
  • School subjects in which one would like to give particularly many answers, if known
  • Profile description, if known
  • Information relevant to teaching (such as dates of exams, grades, learning difficulties, etc.), if disclosed

The provider / contractual partner (ClickTutor) is free to make unlimited use of the services of factor banks with branches in the European Union (data recipients).

On what legal basis and for what purposes is the data processing carried out?

Who will your data be passed on to?

We transmit personal data from processors commissioned by us (e.g. IT service providers) your data, if this is necessary to fulfill the respective service. All processors are contractually obliged to treat your data confidentially and only process it within the framework of the commissioning by us. 

 

If there is a legal obligation, we transmit personal data to public bodies and institutions (e.g. law enforcement authorities, courts).

How long will your data be processed and stored?

We only process your personal data as long as this is necessary. As soon as your data is no longer required, it will be automatically deleted. 

 

We store the personal data necessary for the fulfillment of the contract for the duration of the entire business relationship as well as in accordance with the statutory retention and documentation obligations (e.g. according to the company code or the federal tax code). In addition, we take into account the statutory limitation periods, which according to the General Civil Code (ABGB) can in certain cases be up to 30 years.

What are your rights?

 

Right to information If we process your personal data, you have the right to information about the processing purposes, the categories of personal data processed, the recipients of this personal data, storage duration, the rights you are entitled to, the origin of the personal data and the existence of automated decision-making.

You are entitled to request the deletion of personal data concerning you, provided that the processing of the data is not lawful and there are no legal obligations on our part to prevent the deletion.

You are entitled to request that the processing of your data be restricted in certain cases. 

 

Data portability

You are entitled to request the transfer of the data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. You have the right to have the personal data transmitted by us directly to a person in charge named by you, insofar as this is technically feasible. 

 

Contradiction

For reasons that arise from your particular situation, you are entitled at any time to object to the processing of personal data concerning you. If you raise an objection, we will no longer process personal data relating to you unless we can prove that our reasons for processing outweigh your interests. You can object to the use of your personal data for advertising purposes at any time; In this case we will stop processing your data for advertising purposes.
